Noun

              A noun is a word that names something, either a person,place or thing. In a sentence a noun can play the role of subject, object or adjective.

Types of Nous   

Nouns form a large proportion of English Vocabulary and they come in a wide variety of types. Nouns can be a name of a person.
Eg:- Ram, Newton, Seetha

Nouns can also be the name of a place
Eg:- Kerala, Germany, Cochin

Nouns can also name things such as materials, concepts, process and imaginary things.
Eg:- Wood, Physics,Cricket
